Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

RE: Ok, Coming Down to the Wire...

A couple of points:

1. Be aware that if you want to play SACDS but use an external DAC you will normally be unable to do this. The communication of SACD data to DACS is only allowed via HDMI connection. You will be able to use the external DAC for redbook only from your transport. A couple of very high end brands do offer separate transport/DAC combinations that will handle SACD ( dCS and Esoteric) but they use proprietary encrypting between the two boxes.

2. Qobuz does normally provide full track info. It may be that your experience arose from unfamiliarity with the app you used, however I do not know what this was. For full track information you may have to select "information" or Qobuz displays the information in the same way as a CD cover .g. work title at the top then track title. There is also a combination of both available as well as, in some cases, access to the full CD booklet. Here are a couple of screen shots with different views of the same album showing track info. There is alsoa screenshot of an album with works from various composers.
