RE: One box vs. two box digital

Yeah, I'm considering that, using a less expensive blu ray player that plays everything as a transport into a separate DAC, but I really want to reduce the clutter of boxes, cables, etc. If I had a dedicated room it would be different, but I've only got a small carve out of the living room so neatness counts. Transport, DAC, streamer...just too much.

The SACD 30n has all that in one box, I'm just not sure the sound quality is as good at the SA-10 or the KI Ruby, and that's what's most important to me. I am hesitant as to the "all in one" boxes, but the Marantz has a solid warranty on it so it's a little more tolerable.
