RE: iFi SPDIF iPurifier?

Alright so, I received the iFi iPurifier yesterday and, connected between my Revox drive and my Gustard DAC, it is undeniably and immediately effective, and not in a subtle way! More precision, better transparency (I can now hear LAYERS of BACKGROUND NOISES on recordings where background noise used to be a SINGLE LAYER)

Layering, yes, is impressive. treble has lost the last bit of "splashy" quality. Voices are more natural. Even bass is better! it seems to go lower with more authority. Imaging, also, got wider. Attacks are sharper, note extinctions last longer.

I haven't heard any negative so far. And, according to iFi, things will even improve more after 100hours.

The only negative is of practical order: I was under the impression that I could have both the optical output of my PS4 and the coax output of my CD player connected to it at the same time, and that somehow the device would allow selection of what's being passed through it. Turns out, you can only have your COAX cable OR your optical cable plugged in it. That means if you have more than one SPDIF signal to treat, you need an iPurifier for each. Which starts getting expensive....
