I just bought a Chinese power cord for the A18 (I'm all Chinese now, almost: amps, DAC, and all cabling) that goes into a (also Chinese) filtered power strip.
Everything is still burning in but, already, there's a very impressive feeling of three dimensionality, enveloping sound, impressive bass power (almost too much! I might have to lower the subwoofers level), great insight into the most subtle nuances, and a midrange to die for, velvety and neutral.
I'm over the moon with the combination. (the power cord I bought is around 20 USD for 4 feet length on AliExpress, is built like a tank, sumptuously finished, and an incredible bargain. Low level devices such as digital sources and preamps and active crossover seem to react very positively to it. I have two, my friend has two, and I know a guy from Australia who cabled his complete system with it. There is better stuff out there, for sure, but never ever in that price range!)
