I think the issue is less about the amount of bandwidth you have than the reliability of the service. I lived with Verizon FIOS 25/25 for years using the same streaming services as you. I didn't have the problem you describe. I'd call CenturyLink and tell them about the problem. They may just suggest an upgrade but I'd first insist that they take a look at the issue. You don't want to do that fiber upgrade and find you have the same result.
Whatever you do, as Abe said, don't go to satellite service. Good luck.
