RE: DEQ2496 for DSP? (update)

Finally have the DEQ2496 in the system and I am using it at this time just for GEQ and a bit of balance adjustement.

Digital domain only, optical in from PC and optical output going to a MODI3

Sounds great, the EQ helps to tighten up and deepen the base, and the balance is nice.

I can detect absolutely no deterioration vs. just the direct optical from the PC to the MODI3.

Vocals sound fine, no graininess or sybilance increase...

I do have the recommended microphone for RTA somewhere in storage, eventually I will dig it out and give the RTA a try and see if I can tighten up the bass even more with the parametric EQ.

The MODI3 seems to like the optical input also, so I am a happy camper.
