I do have the Ayre QB-9. I like it very much.I haven't had a chance to directly compare it and the Grace in a system.
My impression of the Grace 903 is that it is very good. When you consider some of its features, it makes it a contender in its price category for sure.
The OP said $1600, and for some reason, I was thinking the "street price" might be in that category. Now I realize I might be off by a couple of hundred dollars.
IMO, still a lot of performance and useful features for its price.
