RE: Best Way to Copy My CD's to Harddrive, Then Burn?

When I started out as dCS Ltd. Service Manager, I was tasked with providing customers with software updates via CD-R. They required me to obtain a copy of Nero Burning ROM as it made "bit-perfect copies that we know will work when sent out".

With Nero you can burn your audio or data CD's to "Image files" that are perfect, loss-free copies of your CD's and all you have to do to make a new CD-R of that file is double click the image file you wish to duplicate. I set the Write Speed for the slowest available and swear I hear a slight improvement from the copy vs. the original.

Easy and idiot proof.

Take care,
