is one of the better single box players I have had in my system recently, and I have had a lot of players through here. System synergy is everything, I guess. It is also the best transport I have used to date for my Stello DA-220 (which is the reason I bought it initially).
Note that mine is the "i" model as well. This replaced a Classe CDP-.5 and a CEC, which were my previous transports, and NAD player on it's own is pretty much the equal of the Stello DA-220 in my system - possibly a little more fluid sounding with a touch less bass impact. The NAD and Stello combo gives me a disc by disc choice of flavors, which is very nice thing to have. I do use good power conditioning on my sources, however.
