I agree that it is a very good sounding DAC for its price, with the caveat that two of the upgrades that Stryder mentions are essential: supplanting the stock squishy feet (which really muddy the sound) and tube rolling. I'm using an Amperex 7308.
Switching out stock power cords improves any piece of gear of course; especially a digital one.
I'm planning on sending mine out to Affordable Audio (a Music Hall service center) for mods.

I haven't used it with a computer yet, only with my Marantz SA15 S2. Using a Jena Labs Symphony Digital IC.
