These are my first impressions of the Giga Labs Moon DAC.
The listening fatigue associated with my CD players is gone. The music is much more engaging. The sound stage is good and the Midrange is rich without the harshness of the CD players. I only have about 10 hrs on the device so I assume the sound will continue to evolve. This the first out board DAC that I have encountered so my only reference is my run of the mill red book CD players and DVD players.
The NOS DAC seems to be a great fit for my vacuum tube based amps. IMHO, the the Giga Labs Moon DAC is a great value so far. Much closer to listening to vinyl. That's my 2 cents.
