Yes, this would be an option. It is not for me however, because I have too much stuff already. One more large component, especially solely as a spare, is a step in the wrong direction in my situation. What I'm really wondering is if there is a contemporary transport or CD player that captures enough of the Forsell "analog" sound to satisfy as a replacement.
