Don't have Oppo experience.My 2 channel system has used some Sony DVD's as transports and with analog out, but not the newest one yet (just got it).
My HT rig is where the Sony is. Compared to the Samsung HD931, it sound better to me. But this is with Toslink out hooked up to that system.
