....has balanced outputs and switchable HDCD decoding - it has separate signal paths for HDCD and non-HDCD discs. I really like the switchable feature as I find that certain HDCD CD's that I own actually sound better when using the non-HDCD path, and you can compare them directly with the press of the remote (adjusting for the difference in levels first).YMMV however, but this is a steal at it's price point. Build quality and remote are heavy too!!
