tubes for the T

I started with a nice set of Mullard 4003s, then tried Mullard NOS long plate 12AU7s. They were very nice, but moved to Amperex/Bugle Boy 7316s. I thought these gave the best tone, freq response and were cleanest sounding without being too tubbie. Looking through my 12AU7s about four months ago, I pulled out a pair of Tel 802S I had tried before, but pulled after a day. At that time guys on this board were saying that the Tels were great in the Cary 303/300. The Tels are even more of what I enjoyed with the 7316s. A 7316 halo getter is the best for the $$$$.
