Hi,I consider using the Behringer DCX 2496 as a digital crossover. However, I have a few questions regarding its use that I hope someone would respond to. (I have already done quite a bit of searching but have not been able to get answers to the questions I have).
I would like to use the digital input in order to by-pass the AD converter. I have already got a Philips DVD963SA, which has a “digital out coaxâ€. My first question is:
1. Can the digital out coax from the Philips be used directly to the digital AES/EBU input of the Behringer without compromising the sound – and if “yesâ€, how do I do so (the terminals are different)?
I understand that I will have to use a 6-channel volume controler after the Behringer. My second question is:2. Will I have to have some kind of “buffer†after the 6-channel volume kontroller in order to control the impedances to the power amps – and if “yes†how can this be done without spnding a fortune?
Any help is very much appreciated, thanks!
Regards
Peter
