Problems with Doves -- Some Cities (Copy Control) on emmLabs

Any DOVES fans out there ? If so, does anyone have the new Doves -- Some Cities. I have a new Canadian disc with EMI Copy Control and it is corrupted on my emmLabs CDSD/DCC2 with tons of pops, clicks, and shitty sound. (Same disc plays fine on Cambridge Audio Azur CDP though).
I have only tried one other EMI disc (Athlete Vehicles and Animals (UK version)) with Copy COntrol on my new CDSD and if I remember correctly it was fine. Perhaps, there may variations from one title to another, or from one country to another.
Any solutions ... other than boycotting EMI, downgrading my CD player, or going to vinyl ???
