Home Digital Drive

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

Some Say Vinyl is an "Obsolete Technology".......

Yet I play vinyl, it to me still sounds better than any digital audio playback format.....

Although I again stress with a caveat, as long as the vinyl rig is set up correctly.... Which is no easy task.

And next to vinyl (not including open-reel tape), I prefer the sound of "obsolete" physical Redbook CDs, over any newer playback format.......

I'd love to utilize the latest in audio playback technologies..... But to me, I haven't found much correlation between sonic presentation and the "newness" of the technology. I just don't get comparable musical satisfaction with the newer technologies.....

Some might prefer using the latest technologies.... But for me, sonic presentation/sound quality/musical satisfaction is still King.

Vive la difference!!
