RE: Audio CD-RWs

"I don't know about that but I do know that Audio CD-RW [or any CD-R] is not a good medium for long term archival storage. They seem to self deteriorate over time whether in use or not."

I have CD-R copies that are 20 years old that play like brand new CDs.....

Although the quality of the CD-R copies seems to have no rhyme or reason, when it comes to brand of CD-R...... For example, I've tried Taiyo Yuden CD-Rs, and they're awful..... I have had better luck with black CD-Rs and especially phthalocyanine dye CD-Rs.
