There are plenty here who you could say are out of date, or at least using music to full effect with whatever they happen to use. Prices for SOME of the newest tech has gotten quite expensive nowadays for SOTA. Anyone remember when a SOTA cartridge was a mere $500? Or a top rated one was $250? What are they now, $10,000? I have a feeling that seldom posting lurkers hang here to see what's up and about and see what's new and considered good, me included.
And an awful lot of older stuff like Quad ESL57's sound better than a Selectric ;-)
