CDs with inverted polarity sound diffuse, unfocused, bass shy, two dimensional, boring, compressed and weak. How is any of that good? Listen to the test for polarity/phase on the XLO Test CD sometime.No, I would not be surprised if some audiophiles prefer that sort of sound or have been hearing that sort of sound their entire lives.
