RE: USB DACs and Inputs...I don't really get it.

I completely agree with you and have thought the same way for years. Why would a device with all of those extra componenets (a computer) produce better sound quality than a device that is simpler and built specifically to stream music and nothing but music (logitech touch)? Most audiophiles would shudder to use a computer with a cd drive rather than a dedicated cd player or transport.
