But yea, a good isolated reclocking scheme can reduce jitter quite a bit, and there have been many schemes over the last 20 years or so. Unfortunately, based on my experience listening, and designing my own low jitter DACs, and measuring jitter levels, most don't use nearly enough isolation between the input and output clocks to get the jitter down to truly inaudible levels.
