With PC based music servers being readily available, with any dac of your choosing, why buy a dedicated CD player? Combine that with the immenent collapse of the CD market why buy one at all? Let's face it, the CD is dying. The CD-only player is dead. The technology is obsolete. I would sooner buy a new vinyl rig. Just use what you have while you rip all your disks to a hard drive.
