and here is an area where i find that cd falls flat.
there are a huge spectrum of harmonics that are spit out when a jazz player is blowning
a brass instrument. and it sounds to me like the cd is losing about half the harmonics.
the instruments sound less "complex"I find that there are also audio clues that create depth that get washed out.
also while records have pops and ticks that i hate, cd seems to have a noise that is
integral with the music as if it is part of it instead of being on top of it.i know i like records better but if there is a cd player that can bring out these details i have listed
i would like to go down that track becasue i already have alot of cds!
