Re: Rollerball isolation...Pepsi flavoured to follow

From the pics, you can see that the first generation units are Coke and Sprite flavoured :)

Second generation units will have sand (I happened to be out when I made these first few units on a whim). The picture shows both a metal ball bearing and a "rubber coated" mouse ball. The best arrangement I found was to use three rollerball units arranged so that one of the two rear ones was the "rubber" unit. Finally, putting a large sealed supply of Reptile Sand on top of the CDP provided a added warmth to the voice.

Other ideas to distribute resonances would be to make the pop cans different heights. The shorter units would use larger balls. I've tried going back to listening to the CDP without the Rollerballs and
unlike "home"...you cannot go back.

I would say that it is as significant a change as altering interconnects.
