Philips 963 + DAC or Marantz 8260

Im am in the market for a new SACD/CD player and was just wondering if i would be better of with the MArantz 8260 or the Philips 963 with an external DAC for redbook?? The marantz got a class A rating from stereophile. Is it really that good??
