Buying a CD Recorder

I would like to buy a CD Recorder. Tha main reason is to be able to record LPs on CD-Rs. I heard good things about a Marantz CDR-631. I tried to order it but it has been discontinued and is not available anywhere. So now I am trying to decide between a Marantz CDR-500 (a dual deck) and a Sony CDR-W33. I don't really need a dual deck but that is the only one available from Marantz. If anyone has any advice about a CD recorder, I would really appreciate it. I would like to spend less than $800 and definitely less than $1000. Thank you very much.
