It is obvious that I am not going to change your mind, so I will not continue down this path.Just one statement on "feedback". You presented an interesting idea a while back about past signal being added to current signal, leading to a false impression of increased resolution. Speculative as this is, it is interesting. But it only applies to such things as negative feedback in an amp, where past signal actually is added (or subtracted) to current signal.
Such a process does not happen in sigma delta conversion, and it is arguable whether the term "feedback" actually applies. Past signal is never added or subtracted from current signal. Only a comparison is done and current signal is unaffected. When the comparison is reversed, the original signal amplitude should be recovered (within real world limits such as quantization noise).
Anyway, it is not my job to defend SACD- I just buy them and enjoy them, as well as many LPs and CDs as well. SACD to me is a really nice addition to the mix, almost as transporting as analog (but never quite there), but without the many flaws. Theory or no theory, it works for me.
