Dear DD,In my system even the cheaper CDT One/DAC One.1x bettered the SCD-1 from SONY on both SACD and CD, but that off course does not guarantee that it will do the same in your system.
That said, I would be greatly surprised if the CDT two/DAC2.1x balanced does not do that in your system to any SACD combination.
Like I said to theaudiohobby, I have heard nothing that anyone has made SACD-wise that has really made any dent at all in my view of SACD and I invite anyone to visit me at the CES with a player and some discs who believe they can demonstrate otherwise.
CD did not really proliferate the availability of music, it did it with equipment since the hardware was cheap and the software expensive.
