I heard the Consonance SACD 1 and 2 players at their HK dealer, DIYHIFI Supply. Setup was with the Billie 300B monoblock, Django passive transformer volume control preamp and Bastani speakers. Comparison was with a modified Marantz CD-94 player on hand. While the sound seemed spacious, I did not not get a sense that it was more detailed or transparent than CD. Overall, it was no more musical than the Marantz and I preferred the Marantz CD to the Consonance CD. Note that we did not sue the balance outputs but only RCA. Both unist were stock Consonance units
