Good, indeed, but how long will it last? Longer than 4 months, I hope.
I have a CDT-2/DAC 3.1x Balanced combo and, even if I had the money, would feel absolutely no compulsion to upgrade (sorry, Peter Q). This digital front-end provides me with more listening pleasure than the high-end vinyl rig I once owned. Power cables and the digital interconnect used make a big difference, of course, but optimise these and you're there, in my opinion! The difference in price between the DAC 3.1x Balanced and DAC 4.1x Balanced is $5000. Ah, the fun I would have spending such a sum on CDs!
