Paul, you might want to check out Audio Advisor, they have the Harmon Kardon FL 8550 5 disc changer which includes HDCD and a coax output for $299 or a JVC 5 disc with optical output for $179. You could add the DIP for that price and still be close to your budget, as I see that the Yamaha lists for $349. My 1999 Audio equipment directory doesn't list the Marantz you mentioned, but the CC-3000 5 disc lists for $249.99 and has a coax output. I don't know for sure, but I think you can get Marantz mailorder. I would contact Marantz, tell them that you have no local dealer, I'm sure they will recommend someone. Let us know what you get.
