I totally forgot something.
I have a philips Cd-i 550...(moth-balled due to a power suppy that fried) and it has a CDM 12.1...(replaced under warrantee pre pwr supply prob) but what I did notice after taking the CD-i apart to check...it says CDM 12.1 on the pickup...but I hadn't even bothered to check the pickup in my Marantz..the Marantz pickup looks a bit different...(no thin slot with shielding around the lens,more open etc)...so my question is...what did "your" old CDM 12.1 look like in your Marantz? My 63SE pickup looks more like pictures of the VAM1201's I have seen...Just curious.
