I listen to some of just about every style of music. The majority of what I listen to is jazz, especially vocalists, and pop of the "singer/songwriter veign: james Taylor, Aimee Mann, Sarah Harmer, Joni Mitchell, etc.
I bought my Marantz new, only a year ago, but paid dealer cost for it; I now have a chance to get a used Planet for about $300 US.
I'm not dissatisfied with my current player; quite honestly I'm not real sure of its relative quality. But I'm awaiting the arrival of new speakers (Totems) and amp (Rega), and wondering if I should jump at what seems to be a good deal to complete the system.
My budget, however, is limited so there is no room for spending $$ on a less-than-noticeable change.
