Upgrading Marantz CD-80

Digital Drive

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

For years I listened to a Marantz CD-80.
This machine sounds big and bold, I like that.
It's built like a tank, nearly undestructible.
However compared to new players the resolution could be bettered.
Who knows some cheap tricks? New opamps perhaps, if so what type?
