I know it's not one of your choices, but Marantz still makes extremely good CD players, and they aren't insanely priced. I have an SA-KI Ruby SACD/DAC (no longer available, but there are others). It's built like a tank and plays like a dream. I did always want to hear the Accuphase line, they always intrigued.
