Here is a recommendation you are not likely to hear:
Look for a used Marantz SA8004 or SA8005. I own both and have enjoyed for years. It has a built in DAC that you can stream to. I compared these units to the $4k Marantz Ruby and did not hear much difference. You also get the added benefit of SACD capability. For the price, I think it's the best deal on the planet in a CD player.
