I have a Marantz SA-Ki Ruby SACD player. It was expensive, but it's phenomenal. I looked up the 6006 and it looks like it has lots of similar features to mine. The headphone module is really nice. I don't use it now because my integrated has a top level headphone amp built in and I need the remote control volume option that the disc player lacks. I used to have a Sony player with a nice built in HP option and volume knob. I kept it next to the bed so I could easily reach it.
My only hesitation is buying a used disc player in general, but for the right price a Marantz would be an exception. Solid and beautiful components at reasonable prices. I'm pretty sure there's a Marantz HT system in my future, unfortunately they no longer make a universal player for DVD/BR, so I might have to break my used disc player rule for that.
