I had a Marantz CD-67SE for a long time; it still sounds great, but the remote receiver stopped working. Then I replaced it with a Marantz CD-5001, which has tighter bass and a first-class headphone amp.
Now I'm using a Marantz HD-DAC1, a companion unit to the HD-CD1, as a DAC and headphone amp--excellent sound for the money.
