I had 2 Raysonic CD players, then the Pioneer PD 65 (extensively moded) then my Oppo 105, primarily used for SACD/DVD-As, the redbook is ok at best
I know Marantz also makes upscale gear, but was not expecting much in he $600 MSRP range.
