on my Otari and Revox RTRs at 15 IPS with normal recording level with great results. On the other hand I did some recording with higher than average gain level with mixed results. But one thing for certain, the CD/SACD transfer on the RTRs at 15 IPS do sound a bit more analogue, warm and inviting.However, my CDP do not sound harsh or fatiguing either if anything it sounds very neutral to the source.
