I don't know much about the LC clock specifically, but a good clock will likely give a significant all round improvement in sound quality in your player - the jitter figures for the 63 aren't too hot. First, though, ask LC audio if you can return it if you don't like it.

To install the clock, you will need to de-solder you players crystal and a couple of resistors and capacitors, then sloder the cable coming from the clock to one of the holes vacated by the crystal. Then you will need to find a power source for the clock. It can be a little fiddly, but if you can solder and work methodically, you should be OK.
