Home Digital Drive

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

Audio Note Dacs and CDPs can take care of that, but they aren't cheap.

The new AN CD 2.1xII (I think that's what it's called) is fairly smooth, but not nearly as good as their Dac 1.1xII standard or Sig model. Problem is the cost of the AN transport to fit with the DAC.

Smooth digital ones I am away from home these days and never remember model names, anyway):

Arcam 2 top end
Marantz 8001 and above
Copland (I think they now make a universal player)
Sugden (they make a couple models)

Greetings from the sunny Brønshøj riveria on the banks of the lovely Utterslev Mose
