I like Sony Cdr's , made by either TDK or Taiyo Yuden (and rebadged Sony)
Both formulations work well with my puter burner - be aware , formulations change a lot , try get something rated at high burning speeds , 6-8x as they are generally better in terms of quality control.
Unfortunately the CDr thingy is much like hifi , what works in someone elses system might not be good for you.The tag line was my late fathers favourite saying (he died 21 years ago) and I have adopted it. I thinks its pretty pithy and VERY true , only problem is , one ONLY learns by banging ones OWN head ;)
I have deleted it from my sig file cos it seemed to incense some anal retentives here.
