My experience:This is all my opinion only:
11s1 is smooth, thin sound when cold, but improved greatly after a day or so, it is system dependent. It is as detailed as a CARY 306 SACD but not as much punch. More detailed than Simaudio Eclipse, again not as dynamic. More detail than Meridian G08.
The Eclipse is quite detailed but the 11s1 exceeds it.
11s1 sounds maybe a bit lean but it still brings out inner detail, but slam it does not have at least in my sytem. SACD is better of course, but CD is very good too. In a word 11s1 is refined. I would say the 11s1 is an excellent value. I have not heard the 15s1.
