Which is kind of strange, that Optical 'Sounds Better' to you, as there are many articles and 'Audiophile' Opinions expressed quite the opposite...That Optical is subject to more Jitter. And that if you have an Excellent DAC you are better off with USB as : "USB is an 'asynchronous' protocol.
This means that the timing is actually controlled by the DAC.:I'll take USB (which can do Hi-Res) or Coax..... I leave Optical for the TV. Oh, and the Optical Connections are horribly weak and subject to break quite easily...
