Dear all,I'm now seriously considering to replace my old Philips CD620 with a near-mint Rega Planet 3 sold at about US$475. Here are some questions for help from all you experienced audiophiles:
1. Is the selling price reasonable?
2. How do I know it's really Planet 3 and not Planet 2000?
3. I have read many reviews that it sounds warm. I'm afraid of its compatibility with my EICO HF-81 integrated tube amplifier with all Mullard tubes inside... Have you heard the CDP set up with a tube amplifer? What is the result? Will it be too warm?
Thanks a lot in advance for all your kind responses to my newbie questions. :P
