Where the heck were all you guys last month during the "Tin Foil Wars" last month?I was taking the "alum won't deplete a static charge from an aluminum, glass, plastic disk and if it did it would pick the charge right back up from rotation and frictional charging position" Seems like some other posters under this topic agree that it may be a stretch to observe that demagnetizing a non magnetic disk has some affect on sound quality.
I was in a fight with a Parasound Design Engineer who's only contribution was to convince me that I'll die before I ever spend a dollar of mine on Parasound equipment. He never explained why it might work only that I was "book taught" and couldn't understand such things.
Glad to see it's being discussed responsibly this time and I apologize for letting it get to me during "the wars" last month.
John
