I can understand where you're coming from....I have a RAM moded 3950[including superclock3], and everyone who has heard it just stops talking and listens when it" plays...they look at me and say "but it's a DVD".....I would suggest your Tosh could be carried even further is you wish but even outof the box unmodded I was shocked that the 3950 was actually making music....the first dvd player I could actually listen to music on....and I would venture there are other dvd players similar......I'm a believer...dvd players can play tunes......things have come a long way.....may I suggest an album...K T Tunstall-Eye To The Telescope...this sounds great on the tosh...happy listening
